Facial images and face-related information are not used for facial recognition, identity verification, biometric identification, advertising, tracking, or profiling unrelated to the requested Skin Analysis or Virtual Try-On functionality.
4.5 Microphone Access and Voice Input
FOY offers a voice input feature that lets users search for Products or interact with AI-enabled features by speaking instead of typing.
Why Microphone Access Is Requested:
Microphone permission is requested only when you choose to use voice input, for example by tapping the microphone icon in the search bar. FOY does not access the microphone in the background or at any time other than while voice input is actively in use.
How Voice Input Is Used:
Audio captured through the microphone is converted into text (speech-to-text) only to process your request, such as running a product search or responding to your query. The converted text is handled the same way as a typed search query.
Storage and Retention of Audio:
FOY does not store or retain audio recordings. Audio is processed temporarily and discarded once it has been converted into text. The resulting text query may be retained in the same way as typed search queries, in accordance with Section 7 (Data Retention).
Sharing of Audio:
To convert speech into text, audio may be processed by 3rd party, only to provide the voice input feature. FOY does not sell audio data. Audio is not used for advertising, tracking, voice identification, voice biometrics, or profiling.
4.6 Location Information
What We Collect:
With your permission, FOY collects your device's precise location (latitude and longitude). FOY may also convert these coordinates into an approximate address, such as city, state and pincode (reverse geocoding).
When Location Is Collected:
Location permission is requested when you first use the app. If you grant permission, FOY may collect your location each time you open the app. FOY does not collect location data if you decline or revoke permission.
How Location Is Used:
Location information is used to locate the correct shipping address to reduce wrong location detection.
Sharing of Location:
To convert coordinates into an address, location data may be processed by Apple's location and geocoding services. FOY may share location information with the service providers listed in Section 4.1, such as analytics and logistics partners, only for the purposes described above. FOY does not sell location data.
Retention:
Location information is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes above, in accordance with Section 7 (Data Retention).
